This Ford Ranger Raptor came to us already capable, but the owner wanted to push it further for serious off-road work in North Queensland’s toughest terrain.

The Brief

The client regularly tackles:

• Rocky creek crossings
• Deep water hazards
• Steep rocky climbs
• Beach driving and sand dunes

Suspension Enhancement

• Upgraded rear springs for better load carrying
• Remote reservoir shocks for improved damping
• Extended shackles for additional articulation

Protection Package

• Heavy-duty rock sliders - 3mm steel construction
• Bash plates - Engine, transmission, and transfer case
• Diff guards - Front and rear protection
• Tank guard - Fuel tank protection

Water Crossing Setup

• Safari Snorkel - Raised air intake
• Diff breathers - Extended and relocated
• Sealed wiring - Protected electrical connections

Recovery Equipment

• Winch - 12,000lb synthetic rope
• Recovery points - Rated shackles front and rear
• MaxTrax mounting - Quick-access location

Performance Results
